The award will go to the female recording artist whose nomination is by excellence, regardless of genre, better than any other female artist nominated in the Kwacha Music Awards for Best Female Artist, who is able to command a good stage presentation, distinguished live performance, and is able to pull and captivate a crowd. The public will vote to determine the winner in this category.
