This Award will recognize an Artist(s) for any genre of dance song having a wide and general appeal and characterized by some melodic regular bass beat; with more rhythm and harmony intended mainly for dancing, and which in the opinion of the public is by its excellence, better than any other song nominated in the Kwacha Music Awards for Best Mainstream Song. The public will vote to determine the winner in this category.
