The award will go to a recording Artist based in a specific Province whose nomination is by its excellence, regardless of its genre, better than any other nomination for an artist nominated for the Kwacha Music Awards. The nomination may exclude artist competing in the main categories at the discretion of the steering committee, to encourage competition for upcoming and least popular artists.
