The award will go to the artist whose song that in the opinion of the public is by its excellence, regardless of its genre, better than any other song nominated in the Kwacha Music Awards. The public will vote to determine the winner in this category. The public may include the consideration of airplay, message, vocals, instrumentation, arrangement, the quality of recording, sales, and impact.
