Terms And Conditions ForNominees

1. Nominated Works. The Nominee is required to submit works for which one has been nominated together with a high-resolution photograph to be used for the graphics during the Awards.
2. Nomination Certificate. The Nominee will be presented with a Nomination Certificate that will indicate the work for which the Artist(s) has been nominated and will be presented during the Awards ceremony dress rehearsal
3. Trophy. The winner of each category will be presented with a Trophy on the night of the Award. The trophy shall be collected in person by the winner except in exceptional circumstances where a representative shall be allowed to collect on behalf of the winning nominee.
4. Prize money. The winner of each category will be given prize money that shall not be paid earlier than 30 days after the date of the Main Award Ceremony. Cash prizes are awarded to the winning artists except where the category states otherwise.
5. Attendance. Artists & producers who are nominated in any category are expected to attend the awards ceremony; Those who fail to attend the awards ceremony will not be eligible to receive the cash element of their award, nor will they receive the statuette. Exceptions to this rule will be considered provided that application is made by the nominee, giving written notice of their inability to attend, with and accompanying motivation to be received by KMA Committee within fourteen(14) days of the nominees being announced; Should the application be successful then the nominee may be required to record an audio-visual interview for each category nominated for broadcast purposes, a copy of which must be delivered to Sun FM by no later than 2 weeks prior to the Award ceremony.
6. Accommodation. The Nominees from out of the hosting City (Lusaka) will be provided with accommodation (one standard double room for individual nominees or two standard double rooms for groups/ bands or Choirs.
7. Transport. The Nominees from out of the hosting City (Lusaka) will be provided with transport fair equivalent to bus fare.
8. Entry. The Nominee will be granted a Nominee’s Pass which will entitle one to the red-carpet and a designated VIP seat in order of nomination category. An extra one VIP ticket will be given to each nominee.
9. Performance. The Nominee may be requested to perform at the awards in support of the Awards and the Music Industry. The performances shall be voluntary showcase with commitment and honor in support of the initiative to support the music industry.
10. Photography. The Nominee will undertake a photo session with a designated photographer on the day of the Awards, wherein the photographer will take the photographs of the Nominee.
